Cleveland, OH-The Cleveland State fencing teams announced the 2025-26 schedule today. The Vikings will compete in several tournament and dual meet events leading up to the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference Championship scheduled for late February.

Cleveland State is set to host the NCAA Midwest Regional on March 8, 2026. The top fencers from across the Midwest region will compete for a spot in the NCAA National Championship which is scheduled for March 19-22 in South Bend, Indiana. Cleveland State student-athletes will have the opportunity to punch their ticket to the NCAA Finals while competing in their home environment. More details on the event will be released at a later date.

The regular season gets underway this weekend as the Vikings hit the road to compete in the OSU Open and OSU Duals hosted by Ohio State University in Columbus. The two-day event will feature an open competition on Saturday and a team dual meet competition on Sunday.

Cleveland State will next compete twice in early November. The Vikings travel to the Drew Invitational in New Jersey on November 2 and make a return trip to Columbus for the OSU Elite Invitational on November 8.
The Vikings will later compete in the DeCicco Duals hosted by Notre Dame (January 24) and the Schiller Duals hosted by Northwestern (February 1). The event at Northwestern marks the final regular season competition prior to the CCFC Championship.
