Dayton, OH-The Cleveland State men's golf team finished its fall season at the Dayton Flyer Invitational placing 11
th in the team standings at 47-over par.
Brody Simms finished in 12
th place in the individual standings closing the tournament at 3-over par. Simms finished the event with a 3-over 74 which included two birdies and an eagle on the par-5 sixth hole. Liam Nelson of Miami(OH) took home the individual title finishing at 7-under par. Simms closes the fall season finishing inside the top 15 in all five of the Vikings' fall events.
Dominik Cosic finished tied for 34
th place at 11-over par. Cosic posted a 6-over 77 in the final round.
Ryan Dinan finished tied for 59
th and
Trace Gibson was tied for 62
nd. Dinan finished with a 4-over 75 to post 16-over for the event. Gibson carded a final round 77 to finish at 17-over.
Dillon Pendergast and
Ben Scheeff withdrew from the event and did not post a final score. Cleveland State concludes its fall season and will enter winter break before resuming play with the spring season scheduled to begin in February. The Spring 2026 Schedule will be released at a later date.
