Starting Line
The Vikings will compete in their second 5K of the year at the Joe Piane Invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame. The site is the Burke Golf Course on the campus of Notre Dame.
 
History at the Meet
Last year at the Invitational, the Vikings were paced by the duo of Natalie Keller (18:17) and Ana Crangle (18:24), who both posted sub-19-minute times to finish 56th and 61st, respectively. Both times rank them in the top five on the CSU 5K Record List.
 
Running Squad
Eight Vikings will be competing in the Gold Race: Sage Colon, Ana Crangle, Annabelle Crissman, Kayla Crissman, Deena Ingrassia, Natalie Keller, Madison McGarrah, and Tara Will.
 
Madeline Crissman, Aubrey Evans, Sophie Ngetich, and Sophia Pomnean will compete in the open race.
 
Last Time Out
Cleveland State finished seventh at the All-Ohio Classic, which was the first 6K of the season. The Vikings had a team time of 1:59:21, which was an average time of 23:53 and an average mile of 6:25. The five-man gap was 1:55.
 
Natalie Keller paced the Vikings on the evening, placing 19th overall and fourth among D1 runners with a time of 22:49.9.

Coach Hudson will be entering his eighth season with the Green and White.
