CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team continued play at the Viking Invitational Saturday, posting a strong singles and doubles showing.
The Vikings picked up a trio of singles wins on Saturday, with all three coming over Ball State.
Ella Franz,
Leah Geisz and
Marta Rodriguez each picked up straight-set wins against the Cardinals.
Two of Cleveland State's doubles wins on the day came from Franz and
Melliz Petkova Mustafa, as they picked up wins against Youngstown State and Duquesne. In addition,
Laura Tapia and
Jenna Redmile also picked up a doubles win against the Dukes.
Play at the Viking Invitational will wrap up tomorrow with one round of singles, with Cleveland State taking the court at 11:00 a.m.
