COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team continued its opening weekend of dual match play Monday, dropping a 7-0 match at No. 15 Ohio State.
Despite dropping the doubles point, Cleveland State's top team of
Sima Heren and
Oihane Vicario were leading their match 4-3 before it was abandoned.
In singles, both Vicario and
Filippa Frogner pushed their second sets to 7-5 scores, Vicario at No. 1 singles and Frogner at the No. 6 spot.
The Vikings will be back in action on Sunday, January 26, when they host Miami (OH) at 10:00 a.m. inside the MMTP.
