Columbus, OH-The Cleveland State men's and women's fencing teams will kick off the season this weekend at the OSU Duals hosted by Ohio State University. Select individuals will compete in the OSU Open on Saturday with both teams set to compete in a series of five dual meets on Sunday.

Head coach Jen Oldham enters her first full season in charge of the fencing program. Oldham welcomes eight newcomers to the roster across both teams who will compete for the first time this weekend for the green and white.

Cleveland State will face off against the varsity and club teams from host Ohio State, as well as Georgia Tech, Denison and Oberlin on Sunday. The full schedule for the day is below.

Round 1 (8 a.m.) – Ohio State vs. Oberlin, OSU Club vs. Cleveland State, Denison vs. Georgia Tech
Round 2 (9:30 a.m.) – Ohio State vs. Cleveland State, Oberlin vs. Denison, Georgia Tech vs. OSU Club
Round 3 (11 a.m.) – Ohio State vs. Denison, Cleveland State vs. Georgia Tech, Oberlin vs. OSU Club
12:30 p.m. – Lunch break
Round 4 (1:30 p.m.) – Ohio State vs. Georgia Tech, Oberlin vs. Cleveland State, Denison vs. OSU Club
