CANCUN, Mexico – The Cleveland State women's tennis team wrapped up play at the Princess Hotels College Cup Friday, picking up three wins out of their four matches on the day.
In the lone singles match of the day, freshman
Melliz Petkova Mustafa picked up the first win of her collegiate career, earning an 8-1 victory over Anastasiia Kochelaevskaia from Wyoming.
In doubles,
Tereze Vevere and
Ella Franz teamed up for an 8-5 win, while
Jenna Redmile and
Filippa Frogner posted an 8-6 victory.
Cleveland State will be back in action the first weekend of October, hosting the inaugural Horizon League Individual Championship October 4-6.
