CANCUN, Mexico – The Cleveland State women's tennis team had a successful second day at the Princess Hotels College Cup, picking up eight combined victories through singles and doubles play.
In doubles,
Oihane Vicario and
Sima Heren picked up an 8-3 win, while
Tereze Vevere and
Ella Franz earned an 8-4 win, with both victories coming against Southeastern.
The quartet of Vevere, Franz,
Jenna Redmile, and
Filippa Frogner all remained perfect in singles play after Thursday, with all four Vikings picking up wins against Wyoming.
In addition, Vicario and Heren also picked up singles wins on the second day for their first victories of the 2024-25 campaign.
Play at the Princess Hotels College Cup will wrap up tomorrow, with one round of singles and one round of doubles.
