ROME, Ga. – The Cleveland State women's tennis doubles team of Sima Heren and Oihane Vicario made their debut at the ITA Conference Masters Thursday, coming up short in their Round of 32 match.

Heren and Vicario dropped a tough 0-6, 6-4, 1-0(2) three-set decision to the East Tennessee State tandem of Daniela Rivera and Alessandra Caceres – who were playing as the No. 3 seed in the tournament.

The Viking duo earned their way into the ITA Conference Masters by winning the doubles title at the Horizon League Individual Championships last month, representing #HLTennis in the 32-team doubles draw.

The duo will now play a consolation match tomorrow.
