Johnstown, PA-The Cleveland State men's golf team is back in action again at the Red Flash Invitational set to begin on Monday. The event is hosted by Saint Francis University and will take place at Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
This marks the third tournament of five in Cleveland State's Fall 2024 schedule. The Vikings hosted the Tom Tontimonia Invitational last week where CSU finished seventh as a team at Pine Hills Golf Club in Hinckley.
Cleveland State is one of nine teams in the tournament field and will compete alongside the likes of Bucknell, West Virginia, Youngstown State and others. Sunnehanna Country Club is widely known as a challenging layout and plays host to one of the most prestigious amateur events in the country, the Sunnehanna Amateur, each summer. The winner of the event on the men's side will receive an exemption into the qualifying round for next summer's Sunnehanna Amateur.
The tournament begins with tee times off the back nine scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. EST. The event is scheduled for 36 holes with one round scheduled for each day on Monday and Tuesday. Live scoring will be available on Scoreboard Live throughout the event.
