CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State cross country team will continue the 2024 campaign this weekend, competing at the Joe Piane Invitational hosted by Notre Dame on Friday, October 4.
Friday's 5K Gold Division race is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Burke Golf Course & Cross Country Course.
This will mark the second 5K of the season for the Vikings, with
Ana Crangle (19:10) and
Natalie Keller (19:24) owning the team's top 5K times from the Tommy Evans Invite earlier this season.
Last time out, the Vikings participated at the All-Ohio Classic, with Keller placing 10
th overall with a 6K time of 23:01.
This weekend's race marks the third event of the season for Cleveland State, with the Vikings also set to compete in the Falcon Invite (October 18), Horizon League Championships (November 2) and NCAA Regionals (November 15).
