CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Cleveland State finished seventh in the All-Ohio Classic on Friday evening. This was the first 6K of the year for the Green and White.
Cedarville was the top team overall, with John Carroll in second and Ohio Wesleyan third.
The Vikings had a team time of 1:59:21, which was an average time of 23:53 and an average mile of 6:25. The five-man gap was 1:55.
Natalie Keller paced the Vikings on the evening, placing 19th overall and fourth among D1 runners with a time of 22:49.9.
"We had a great team effort tonight, finishing three spots higher than last year," said Coach Hudson. "The team handled the large field size and the heat well during the first 6K of the year."
Ana Crangle came in 31st after crossing in 23:11.7,
Deena Ingrassia placed 77th with a time of 24:10.4, and Sage Colon was 90th with a time of 24:23.5.
Kayla Crissman (24:44.8) was 102nd,
Annabelle Crissman (24:47.8) was 105th,
Madison McGarrah (24:54.7) was 114th,
Madeline Crissman (26:22.3) was 174th, Sophia Ngetich (27:05.8) was 201st, and
Aubrey Evans (27:35.2) was 215th.
