CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team had a strong start to the Viking Invitational Friday, picking up five singles wins and five doubles wins.
In singles, the Vikings got wins from
Sima Heren,
Tereze Vevere,
Ella Franz,
Melliz Petkova Mustafa, and
Filippa Frogner, with all five wins coming against Duquesne.
In doubles, the Vikings went 5-1 on Friday, including the duos of Franz/Vevere and Heren/Petkova Mustafa going 2-0 on the day with wins against Bowling Green and Youngstown State.
Action at the Viking Invitational will continue tomorrow, with one round of singles and two rounds of doubles.
