The number one goal of the Cleveland State University Cheerleading team is to
serve as active members and ambassadors of the University and the athletic program.

We aim to uphold, reflect, and project the goals and ideals of the University;
to inspire fans through supporting intercollegiate ahtletic teams, while exhibiting great spirit, leadership, and character.

We strive to be the BEST individual, team, and Viking possible. 

The year consists of cheering at all home men's and women's basketball games, practices, and participating in events and appearances all year long. 

You must register for tyrouts HERE.

Once you have registered using the link above, you will be emailed the tryout packet with more information & the material to learn prior to clinic!

If you are unable to attend tryouts or have questions, please contact Coach Bessmer at cheer@csuohio.edu prior to the first day of clinics.

DOCUMENTATION
Below are the mandatory items that must be submitted to be able to participate in tryouts:

Physical (within the last 12 months)
Sickle Cell Test Results (Call Student Health Center and schedule your sickle cell test, 216-687-3649)
Proff of Insurance (Photo of insurance card, front & back)
Liability Waiver (Parent signature if minor)
Copy of Fall Class Schedule

SKILLS: MALES
No Experience Required
