Cleveland State was tripped up by Detroit in its first night game of the year on Saturday, 10-8. Detroit led 3-2 after the first quarter and took a 5-4 advantage into the intermission. The Vikings outscored the Titans 3-1 in the third quarter, but a 4-1 fourth frame for Detroit proved to be the difference.
 
Maddox Johnson scored his first two collegiate goals, and Creed McDonald also finished with multiple goals. Justin Dalum made seven saves, and Robbie Stewart won eight faceoffs.
 
About the Dolphins
Le Moyne heads into the contest with a 3-10 overall record and a 2-3 mark in conference games. The road has not been kind to the Dolphins with a 1-6 record. Last game out, Le Moyne came up short in overtime at Wagner, 8-7.
