Cleveland State Women's Tennis Opens ITA Midwest Regional 

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Cleveland State women's tennis team opened play at the ITA Midwest Regional Thursday, with a trio of Vikings competing in the Qualifying Singles Draw.  

Cleveland State is making an appearance at the ITA Midwest Regional for the first time since the 2017 fall campaign.  

Bethany Yauch, Tereze Vevere and Ella Franz all represented the Vikings in the Qualifying Singles Draw, with Vevere and Franz dropping three-set matches and Yauch coming up short in a straight set decision.  

Oihane Vicario will be representing Cleveland State in the Main Singles Draw tomorrow, while the duos of Vicario/Vevere and Franz/Yauch will be part of the Doubles Draw. 

Cleveland State will continue play at the ITA Midwest Regional tomorrow, with two rounds of doubles and the first round of the Main Singles Draw.
