Cleveland State Women's Tennis Captures Doubles & Singles Titles At Viking Invitational

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team closed out action at the Viking Invitational on Sunday, picking up a pair of singles wins and capturing both the singles and doubles titles.

Bethany Yauch and Selma Tounsi both capped off 3-0 weekends with a pair of wins on Sunday, with Yauch capturing the Viking Invitational Singles Title.

Yauch picked up a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0(7) victory against Ceci Rosas of Youngstown State, while Tounsi came out on top of a 6-4, 6-7(5), 1-0(2) decision against YSU's Julia Marko.

After picking up wins against Niagara and Youngstown State in doubles action, the duo of Yauch and Ella Franz captured the Viking Invitational Doubles Title.

This marks the fourth doubles title and second singles title that Cleveland State has clinched during the six-year history of the Viking Invitational.

Cleveland State will return to action at the ITA Midwest Regional next week, with action beginning on Thursday, October 20.
