Cleveland State wrestilng hosted Clarion on Friday (Jan. 30) evening as the Vikings went on to win 21-15 for their third win in a row.

Nick Montgomery won Cleveland State's first match of the night in a 13-2 major decision. LaTrell Davis followed suit in another dominating 17-5 major decision to give the Vikings the lead, 8-6. After dropping a couple matches, Xavier Dye brought Cleveland State back within one point from Clarion, 12-11. #15 Riley Shaw won the heavyweight match in a 2-0 decision to once again bring the Vikings within one, 15-14. #15 Ben Willeford put Cleveland State in the lead, 18-15, with a 18-5 major decision over Hunter Jones. Alfredo Gray finished off the Golden Eagles with an 8-1 decision. 

The Vikings will be back in action as they travel to Rider on Saturday (Feb. 7). Matches will begin at 1:00 p.m.
