CLEVELAND, Ohio - Alex Dickinson and Stephanie Lee represented the Cleveland State women's fencing team in the NCAA Midwest Regional, hosted Saturday (March 10) at CSU's Woodling Gymnasium.
Dickinson placed 10th in the epee contest while Lee was 17th of 20 foilists.
"I thought both of our fencers did a really nice job," head coach Andy Tulleners said. "We went up against some really talented athletes who are nationally ranked and held our own. Alex and Stephanie worked really hard to get to this point and I'm proud of the effort they put in to get here, but also of what they showed today."
Dickinson had four victories and 40 touches while allowing 56. Lee posted three victories and was aided by 38 touches.
After Saturday, Dickinson's record sits at 81-33 while Lee is 67-50.
