University Heights, Ohio - The Cleveland State wrestlers earned their first dual-meet victory Tuesday night, taking down John Carroll 39-6 at the Decarlo Varsity Center.

The Vikings claimed wins in all but two matches. Senior Rocco Mansueto (125 lbs. Middletown, N.Y./Middletown) and Phil Mansueto (133 lbs. Middletown, Ohio/Middletown) were both dominant in their matches, earning major decisions of 18-0 and 21-5, respectively. Juniors Stipe Miocic (197 lbs. Willowick, Ohio/Eastlake North) and Russ Davie (Hwt. Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg) capped the drubbing with pins in the final two matches.

Cleveland State will their EWL season next week when they take on Edinboro on Dec. 5 in Edinboro, Pa.
