Competed at four opens as an unattached collegian, exclusively at 125 pounds … Won a match at the Findlay Open (11/17).

Qualified for the OHSAA state tournament on three occasions … Placed at the event twice, once at 113 pounds and once at 120 pounds … Helped Lake Catholic finish second in state dual tournament, winning all three of his bouts in state tournament … Was an All-North Coast League and an All-Lake County selection … Was an OhioVarsityfirst team all-star … Won Lake Catholic sectional tournament four times with all wins at event being of bonus-point variety.
