INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Cleveland State junior Aleksandar Kolar was named the Horizon League Under Armour Defensive Player of the Week. This is the first weekly honor for Kolar.
 
Kolar led the Vikings to a 1-0-1 week after not allowing a goal in the run of play. The Strongsville, Ohio, native earned his first collegiate win at Canisius after making a save, allowing just a penalty kick.
 
Kolar then put on a show Saturday evening against No. 19 FAU, racking up five saves in the first half before adding two more in the second for a career-best seven and his first-ever shutout.
