CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State volleyball team closed out play in the CSU Invitational presented by Comfort Inn Cleveland Downtown Saturday, dropping a 3-1 contest against Coppin State.
Sophie Skidmore and
Alyssa Cerovac both recorded nine kills on the day, while
Jazen DeBina added eight.
Fiona Cooper finished with 33 assists on the match.
Cleveland State's defense was led by
Vayda Delventhal with 15 digs, while Cooper added six.
Julia Jozefov recorded a team-best three blocks, while DeBina and
JeriLynn Koehler both notched two.
The Vikings will be back in action with a pair of matches next week, traveling to Kent State on Thursday, September 17 and hosting Akron on September 18.
