Richmond, Ky.- Cleveland State (0-2-0) dropped its second straight road game to open the season with a 4-0 loss against Eastern Kentucky (1-1-0) on Sunday.
Going into the intermission CSU battled hard only allowing one shot on goal as the game remained tied 0-0.
Eastern Kentucky took a 1-0 lead on a penalty kick just a minute into the new half. The Colonials tacked on goals in the 55th and 59th minutes to lead 3-0. Four minutes later, EKU bagged its fourth goal and then capped off the 5-0 victory in the 80th minute.

Hayleigh Lewis made three saves in goal.
The Green and White will now get set for its home opener against Duquesne on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m.
