HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Cleveland State volleyball team opened up Horizon League play Friday, dropping a 3-1 contest at Northern Kentucky.
Friday's match marked the first of 18 #HLVB contests for the Vikings this season, with the two teams set to close out the weekend series tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.
Freshman
Bryn VanVleet posted a team-best seven kills on the night, while
JeriLynn Koehler added six and
Laken Voss,
Chloe List and
Julia Jozefov all added five.
Isabella Gibbons finished the match with 17 assists, along with four digs, one block and one kill.
Cleveland State's defense was paced by
Vayda Delventhal with 12 digs, while Koehler notched four blocks and List added three on the match.
