HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Cleveland State volleyball team continued its opening weekend of Horizon League action Saturday, dropping a 3-0 decision at Northern Kentucky.
Laken Voss had a team-best eight kills on the day, while
Bryn VanVleet added seven and
Julia Jozefov chipped in six.
Cleveland State's defense was led by 12 digs from
Vayda Delventhal, while
Madisyn Green and
Isabella Gibbons both added eight digs.
JeriLynn Koehler recorded four total blocks on the match, while Voss and
Chloe List both added two each.
Next up for the Vikings will be a midweek matchup at Oakland on Tuesday, September 30, before hosting Wright State in a weekend series on Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4.
