LARAMIE, Wyo. – The Cleveland State volleyball team closed out play at the Rumble in the Rockies hosted by Wyoming Sunday, dropping a three-set match against Tulsa.
For the second time this weekend, freshman
Bryn VanVleet paced the Viking offense, finishing with seven kills on the match. In addition,
Chloe List added five kills.
Allison Salazar once again served as Cleveland State's primary setter, finishing with 12 assists along with three kills and two blocks.
Vayda Delventhal recorded her third straight double-digit dig performance, posting 14 digs on Sunday to lead the Viking defense.
JeriLynn Koehler added a team-best three block assists on the day.
The Vikings will now open up their 13-match home slate, beginning with a 6:00 p.m. contest against Akron on Wednesday, September 3. Prior to Wednesday's match, the Vikings will unveil their 2024 #HLVB Tournament Championship banner.
