LARAMIE, Wyo. – The Cleveland State volleyball team continued its opening weekend of play Saturday, dropping a 3-0 contest at Wyoming as part of the Rumble in the Rockies.
Laken Voss led the Viking offense with 11 kills, while
Bryn VanVleet added nine and
Chloe List tallied seven.
Freshman
Isabella Gibbons played as Cleveland State's primary setter Saturday, finishing with 29 assists, nine digs and three kills.
Vayda Delventhal notched 13 digs to lead the Viking defense, while
Madisyn Green recorded 10 digs.
Magaly Lemus and
Danica McArthur both made their collegiate debuts against Wyoming, while
Matilda Dahlstrom made her Cleveland State debut.
The Vikings will close out play at the Rumble in the Rockies tomorrow, taking on Tulsa at 12:30 p.m. (EST).
