ATLANTA, Ga. – For the third straight season the Cleveland State women's basketball team has been recognized for its work in the classroom, as the Vikings earned a spot on the WBCA Academic Top-25 List.
The Vikings posted a 3.685 combined GPA for the 2024-25 academic year, coming in 17
th among Division I programs.
Cleveland State was one of 115 Division I teams to post a 3.00+ GPA, and one of seven Horizon League teams to be recognized. For the 2024-25 academic year, the Vikings combined for 15 Dean's List honors, two President's Lists mentions, four semester 4.00's, and six graduates.
The WBCA Academic Top-25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA and two-year college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2024-25 season is the 30
th in which the WBCA has compiled an honor roll list.
