INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League announced its 2025 Spring Academic Honor Roll Wednesday, with 117 Cleveland State student-athletes earning a spot on the list.
Cross country/track & field led the way for the Vikings, placing 17 student-athletes on the Horizon League Honor Roll, while women's swim & dive had 16 honorees and women's soccer put 15 student-athletes on their respective honor roll team.
Candidates for the Honor Roll must meet three criteria in order to qualify: 1) participation in at least one of the league's 19 sports during the most recent (or current season); 2) completion of three semesters as a full-time student at the member institution; 3) a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20.
In addition, a total of 68 student-athletes from Cleveland State's non-Horizon League sports met this criteria: lacrosse – 29, wrestling – 18, esports – 13, men's fencing – 6, women's fencing – 2.
