FORT COLLINS, Colo. – After leading the Cleveland State women's basketball team to the Fab 4 of the 2025 WNIT, graduate student
Sara Guerreiro has been named to the WNIT All-Tournament Team.
Through four games played in the WNIT, Guerreiro averaged a double-double with 15.8 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. In addition, Guerreiro also combined for 18 assists and 10 steals, while shooting 60-percent from the field and averaging 40.2 minutes played per contest.
Guerreiro recorded back-to-back double-doubles against Purdue Fort Wayne in the Great 8 (19 points, 11 rebounds) and Buffalo in the Fab 4 (18 points, 14 rebounds), while also notching double-digit scoring performances against Coppin State (14 points) and Duquesne (12 points).
Guerreiro and the Vikings finished WNIT play with a 3-1 record, and advanced to the program's third postseason semifinal. For the 2024-25 campaign, Cleveland State finished with a 27-10 record – the program's fourth straight 20-win season.
