ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Cleveland State track & field team was back in action Saturday, posting a strong showing at the Golden Grizzlies Invite, including an event win from Lily Tomasheski in the Javelin.

Trinity Lamp and Olivia Todd both recorded runner-up finishes in sprint events for the Vikings, Lamp with a time of 14.33 in the 100 Hurdles - setting a CSU record - and Todd with a time of 1:06.07 in the 400 Hurdles. In addition, Tilly Nasende placed third in the 400 Meter Dash (58.39), while Madison Morris placed sixth with a time of 26.03 in the 200 Meter Dash.

In distance events, Ana Crangle paced the Vikings with a fourth place showing in the 1500 Meter Run with a time of 4:46.39, while Brooke Bechtel finished 10^th in the 5000 Meter Run with a time of 18:36.34.

The Vikings recorded 12 top-10 finishes in field events on the day, including an event win from Lily Tomasheski in the Javelin (33.24). Grace Frye posted a pair of runner-up finishes in the Discus (40.09) and Hammer (47.72), while also placing third in the Shot Put (13.16).

Madison Luthy had Cleveland State's top finish in jumps, placing fifth in the Long Jump with a mark of 4.95, while Chloe Amoroso finished sixth in the Triple Jump (10.09).

Cleveland State will be back in action next weekend, taking part in the Bucknell Outdoor Classic.
