YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's basketball team closed out regular season play Saturday, dropping a 73-70 contest at Youngstown State. The Vikings finish regular season play with a 23-8 overall record, including a 14-6 mark in Horizon League play.
1,000 Career Points For Reisma
After finishing with 18 points on the game,
Jordana Reisma eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for her career, finishing the game with 1,004 total points.

The Game
Cleveland State was able to take a 36-28 lead into the halftime break after closing the second quarter on a 10-4 run, including a pair of three-pointers from
Mickayla Perdue and
Filippa Goula.
The Penguins were able to swing the momentum in their favor throughout the third quarter, using a 26-14 advantage during the frame to gain a 54-50 edge heading into the final 10 minutes of play.
The Vikings chipped away at the lead over the opening possessions of the fourth quarter then, with a
Destiny Leo three-pointer putting CSU back on top at 58-56 with 7:29 left to play.
Another Leo three-pointer just 25 seconds later put Cleveland State up 61-58, before a 5-0 stretch from Leo and
Mya Moore gave the Vikings a 66-61 advantage with 4:29 left to play.
The two teams traded baskets over the next few plays then, until a Penguin three-pointer with less than one minute to play put Youngstown State back on top at 71-70. YSU then closed out the contest with one more basket, taking the 73-70 victory.
