#CSUGivingDay 2025 Set For Thursday, February 27

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State Department of Athletics is set to participate in the 12th annual Cleveland State University Giving Day, with #CSUGivingDay 2025 set for Thursday, February 27.

The 24-hour day of giving is a chance for alumni, friends and fans of Cleveland State Athletics to donate to the program of their choosing. Supporters can contribute gifts of any size to the annual event by donating online from 12:00 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, February 27.

"We are excited to once again be taking part in #CSUGivingDay, as this 24-hour fundraising event is one of the best ways that supporters can positively impact Cleveland State student-athletes. Last year we raised over $515,000, marking a department record, which directly supported student-athletes through travel, apparel and equipment, technology upgrades and more. This year, our goal is to have 2,700 individual donors throughout the 24-hour span," Director of Athletics Kelsie Gory Harkey said. "The impact that our alumni, friends and fans can have on this day is priceless, and an integral part of providing a transformational experience as our student-athletes continue to strive to be champions in the classroom, in the community and through competition."

In addition to donating online during the 24-hour campaign, individuals can also make matching gifts to specific sport programs. For those interested in providing a matching gift, please contact Brandon Longmeier at b.longmeier@csuohio.edu or the head coach of the specific program you are supporting.

Contributions made on #CSUGivingDay will be invested in helping Cleveland State student-athletes become champions in the classroom, in the community and through competition.

The athletic department will join other programs and colleges on campus to take part in the 24-hour charitable event, looking to make a difference in the lives of Cleveland State students while also making an investment in CSU's urban footprint.
