"I was excited to see us get that win, especially being down three starters," head coach
Rob Summers said. "It allowed our guys that normally don't get a ton of minutes to step up. I was excited to see
Dayan Nessah lower his turnovers today. That was a big thing for him to take care of the basketball."
Junior forward Priest Ryan (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) led the Vikings with a season-high 21 points on 8-of-17 shooting and was a staggering plus 51 in the plus/minus category. Ryan added eight rebounds and four assists in the win.
"He's just a glue guy," Summers said about Priest Ryan. "He's a guy who has accepted his role at a high level. He's a culture kid. He's got a good spirit about him. He pushes his teammates to the next level."
Junior guard
Chevalier Emery (Appleton, Wisconsin) scored 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting, with all five coming from the three-point line. Sophomore forward

"
Lucas Burton has been very good for us in practice," Summers added. "The biggest challenge for Lucas has been his intensity and today is what I needed out of him. He can help us come Horizon League play. He's very fast in transition and exciting to watch.
