Xander Austin, Men's Swim & Dive
Wont both diving events against Youngstown State with NCAA Zone Cuts.
Audrey Butcher, Women's Swim & Dive
Won a pair of individual races in the pool against Youngstown State.
Colbi Maples, Women's Basketball
Averaged 20.5 ppg on a .458 field goal percentage, helping the Vikings to a 2-0 start to the season.
Dayan Nessah, Men's Basketball
Averaged 18.0 ppg and 8.0 rpg through the first week, including a 25-point, 11-rebound double-double at Loyola.
 
Men's Soccer
-Cleveland State will face fifth-seeded Robert Morris in the #HLMSOC Semifinal on Wednesday.
-The Vikings brought in four major awards and eight All-League awards after winning the program's second regular-season championship.
-The notable special awards were: head coach Sinisa Ubiparipovic named Coach of the Year, Uros Jevtic named Defensive Player of the Year, Ryan Poling named Goalkeeper of the Year, and Uzman Ramees named Freshman of the Year.
Women's Basketball
-The Vikings will return home for two games this week, hosting Pittsburgh at Johnstown on Wednesday and Akron on Sunday.
-Last time out, Cleveland State opened the season with two wins against Chicago State and Cal State Fullerton.
-Colbi Maples returned to the court with a 29-point performance against Chicago State, while Izabella Zingaro (16 pts, 12 rbs) and Paula Pique (10 pts, 10 rbs) recorded double-doubles at Cal State Fullerton.
Men's Basketball
-Cleveland State will hit the road for a busy stretch this week, traveling to Northwestern on Monday and participating in the 2025 Skechers Greenbrier Tip-Off this weekend when they face Kent State and Radford in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.
-Last week, the Vikings went 1-1 to start the season, including a win over Capital that marked the first of the Rob Summers era.
-Through two games, Josiah Harris is averaging a double-double with 12.0 ppg and 10.0 rpg, while Dayan Nessah is averaging a team-best 18.0 ppg.
Volleyball
-Cleveland State will close out the 2025 season at home this weekend, hosting Milwaukee on Friday and Saturday.
-Prior to Saturday's match the Vikings will recognize the senior trio of Matilda Dahlstrom, Abbi Martin and Laken Voss.
Cross Country
-Cleveland State will conclude the 2025 cross country season at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in Evansville, Ind., on Friday.
-The Green and White sent four runners to the Wooster Twilight 5K Challenge, with all of them placing in the top ten.
-Ana Crangle took the top spot for the second straight year with a time of with a time of 17:11.6. Natalie Keller again took second with a time of 17:33.3.
Swim & Dive
-Cleveland State will take the week off from competition before concluding the first half of its season with the annual three-day Magnus Cup, which runs from Thursday, Nov. 20, through Saturday, Nov. 22.
-The Vikings swept the home dual meet against Youngstown State, with the men winning 183-117 and the women 188-112.
-Gracie Chelf (50 & 100 Free) and Audrey Butcher (100 Back & 100 Fly) led the way for the women in the pool with two wins apiece.
-Tyler Schultze won the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard breaststroke.
-Coming off her third #HLSD weekly honor, Ellie Seiter won both diving events: 1-meter (239.78) and 3-meter (274.35).
-Xander Austin won both diving events on the men's side with NCAA Zone Cuts.
