CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State volleyball team returned home to open a quick two-match series against Wright State on Friday, dropping a hard-fought 3-1 decision against the Raiders.
Cleveland State's offense was led by the trio of
Bryn VanVleet,
Julia Jozefov and
Laken Voss who each finished with 11 kills on the night, while
Chloe List added eight.
Isabella Gibbons finished with 32 assists on the match, with
Allison Salazar also adding 10 helpers.
Voss led the Viking defense with 19 total digs, while
Vayda Delventhal added 17 and
Reilly Wadden tallied 11. With 19 digs and 11 kills on the night, Voss posted her third double-double of the season.
As a team, the Vikings combined for eight total blocks, including five from Jozefov and three each from VanVleet and
JeriLynn Koehler.
Cleveland State will host the Raiders in the weekend finale tomorrow, with first serve set for 2:00 p.m.
