GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Cleveland State volleyball team closed out its weekend series at Green Bay Saturday, dropping a 3-0 decision against the Phoenix.
The Viking offense was led by the duo of
Laken Voss and
Bryn VanVleet who both recorded double-digit kills on the day, Voss with 12 and VanVleet with 10.
Isabella Gibbons finished with 28 assists on the day along with eight digs.
Defensively,
Vayda Delventhal posted a team-best 16 digs on the day, while VanVleet recorded 12 and Voss tallied 10. This marked the fourth double-double of the year for Voss and the first for VanVleet.
As a team, the Vikings recorded 5.0 total blocks, including three block assists from
Julia Jozefov and two from VanVleet.
VanVleet and
Allison Salazar both finished with two service aces against Green Bay, as the Vikings recorded seven as a team for the match.
Cleveland State will be back in action next weekend, traveling to Purdue Fort Wayne on Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18.
