CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Vikings (0-5-1) were downed by Bowling Green (3-2-0) 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.
The Falcons netted the only goal of the first half in the 32nd minute as Emma Stransky headed in a corner. BGSU added an insurance goal in the 83rd minute when Alaina Uncapher finished off a cross to win 2-0.
Mayra Sesmas had two of the three shots on the afternoon.
Eleanor Simkonis accounted for the other.
Madison Ott made four saves on the afternoon.
Cleveland State begins a three-game road swing starting with its final non-conference game of the year at Akron on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m.
