Muncie, IN-The Cleveland State women's golf team opened its fall 2024 schedule finishing in 12
th place after the first two rounds of the Brittany Kelly Cardinal Classic hosted by Ball State. The Vikings finished with a 59-over par team total.
Mandie Ruminski was the low individual for CSU finishing with a two-round total of 4-over par. Ruminski is tied for 13
th after posting scores of 75 and 73. Ruminski totaled nine birdies over 36 holes which was tied for the second-best total in the field. She co-led the field in par-4 scoring finishing at 1-under on the par-4's at The Players Club at Woodland Trails.
Kaitlin Kormuth is tied for 34
th at 11-over par. She tallied scores of 76-79 in the first two rounds.
Brynna Mardis and
Kaylin Kline are tied for 63
rd with each finishing with a 22-over par total.
Abby Blackburn rounds out the Viking lineup in 68
th place with a 29-over par total. Freshman
Chloe Holton, making her collegiate debut, is in 65
th place at 25-over par playing as an individual.
The third and final round of the tournament is scheduled for Tuesday morning with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring will be available on Golfstat throughout the event.
