Howey in the Hills, FL-The Cleveland State women's golf team capped its 2024-25 season with round three of the Horizon League Championship on Monday. The Vikings finished eighth in the field and closed with their lowest score of the week, a 58-over 350. It was a 20-shot improvement over yesterday's second round score.
Kaylin Kline posted the low round of the day for the Vikings with a 12-over 85. It was her lowest score of the week and she finished in 35
th place at 53-over par. Kline carded two birdies on the back nine in a 1-over 38.
Brynna Mardis finished in 33
rd place in the tournament field with a 45-over total. Mardis finished the week with an 87 that included a birdie at the par-5 first hole and a near miss on a closing try at the ninth hole.
Mandie Ruminski also posted an 87 in round three and finished in 34
th place at 46-over par.
Abby Blackburn rounded out the Cleveland State lineup finishing 36
th at 76-over par. She closed the week with a 91.
