FAIRBORN, Ohio – The Cleveland State volleyball team captured its sixth Horizon League Tournament title Sunday, battling for a 3-2 victory over Green Bay to earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
The title marked the first for the Vikings since the 2017 season, while all six championships have come during head coach
Chuck Voss' tenure.

Emma Walker was named the #HLVB Tournament MVP, while
Nia Hall and
Laken Voss each earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
In the championship match, Walker finished with a team-best 25 digs as Cleveland State's libero, while Voss and Hall both tallied double-doubles. Voss recorded 16 kills and 14 digs, while Hall added 10 kills and 14 digs.
During the tournament, the Vikings picked up wins against IU Indy in the First Round (3-0), Milwaukee in the Semifinals (3-1) and Green Bay in the Championship (3-2). With the three wins, Cleveland State now stands at 23-9 overall this season, marking the 18
th 20-win season in program history.
