NORTON, Ohio – The Cleveland State cross country team wrapped up its 2024 campaign Friday, competing at the NCAA Regional.
"Today's meet wrapped up a great season for us, we were able to improve our finish from last year and continue to get better each time we competed," head coach
Jason Hudson said. "Natalie and Ana had great races, and I'm proud of how they have performed all year. These two both stepped up to be leaders on the team, and the future is bright for Viking Cross Country!"
For the sixth time this season,
Natalie Keller and
Ana Crangle represented Cleveland State's top-two finishers, including Keller who finished in the top-100 (98) with a personal-best 6K time of 21:26.
Crangle finished right behind at 105
th overall, posting a 6K time of 21:32, which also marked a personal-best.
Sage Colon (23:48) was the next Viking to finish, while
Brooke Bechtel (24:09) and
Deena Ingrassia (24:09) finished right behind each other. In addition,
Ariana Coats (24:13) and
Aubrey Evans (25:51) represented the Vikings on Friday.
This marked the seventh event of the season for Cleveland State, capping off a year that featured 16 personal-best marks and eight record book times.
