Kormuth Posts Top Ten Finish, Cleveland State Women’s Golf Seventh at Bronco Fall Classic

Portage, MI-The Clevleand State women's golf team improved its position in the final round of the Bronco Fall Classic. The Vikings started the day in eighth place and improved to seventh by the end of the final round. Cleveland State finished with a 152-over par team total.
 
Kaitlin Kormuth posted a second consecutive top ten finish as she closed with an 18-over par total for the 54-hole event. Kormuth finished tied for tenth place after finishing with a 7-over 79 in the final round. Kormuth made 13 pars on the day and 33 total in the event, tied for the third best total in the field. She has finished in the top 20 in each of CSU's three tournaments this fall.
 
Brynna Mardis finished tied for 47th at 43-over par. Mardis closed with an 82 in the final round. Mandie Ruminski was tied for 49th at 44-over. Ruminski posted an 87 in the final round. Abby Blackburn also carded an 87 on Tuesday, finishing at 56-over in a tie for 55th. Kaylin Kline finished at 54-over and tied for 54th place after a 93 in the final round.
 
Cleveland State returns to the course one final time this fall at the Dayton Flyer Invitational scheduled for October 21.
