Nia Hall has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week. This marks the first honor for Hall, while she is the third Viking to pick up weekly honors this season.
Last time out, Hall and the Vikings picked up a pair of wins at RMU, improving to 16-6 overall this season and 7-4 in #HLVB play. Entering the sixth week of league play, the Vikings are tied for third in the Horizon League standings.
Hall opened the RMU series with a 20-kill match on Thursday, before following that up with a 16-kill effort on Friday. In both matches combined, Hall tallied a .325 hitting percentage, and was part of a CSU team that tallied a .226 clip on the week.
The 20 kills in the series opener marked Hall's second 20-kill effort of the season, while the 16 kill performance marked her 15
th double-digit kill match of the year.
For the season, Hall is averaging 3.15 kills per set to rank ninth among league players, while she is one of 10 #HLVB players with 250+ total kills on the year.
