Dayton, OH-The Cleveland State women's golf team sits in eighth place after the first two rounds of the Dayton Flyer Invitational. Cleveland State finished with a two-round total of 75-over 635 at NCR Country Club's North Course. Butler leads the tournament at 37-over par.
 
Kaitlin Kormuth is the low individual for the Vikings after day one finishing at 14-over par. Kormuth posted a 3-over 73 in the first round, the lowest score of the day for CSU, and followed with an 81 in the second round. Kormuth is tied for 22^nd in the individual standings.
 
Brynna Mardis is close behind finishing in a tie for 31^st at 17-over par. Mardis carded an 80 in the opening round and followed it up with a 77 in the second round, which was the lowest score of any CSU starter in the second round.
 
Other scores for the Vikings included Mandie Ruminski who is tied for 39^th at 20-over. She posted rounds of 79-81. Chloe Holton is tied for 45^th at 24-over par after matching scores of 82 in both rounds. Abby Blacburn posted scores of 87-84 and is tied for 51^st at 31-over par.
 
The third and final round of the tournament will begin tomorrow with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring will be available on Scoreboard Live throughout the day.
