MILWAUKEE, Wisc. – The Vikings (4-6-3, 1-4-1) suffered a tough 1-0 loss to Milwaukee (6-3-4, 2-3-1) on Saturday evening.
The opening half went scoreless as reigning Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week
Ryan Poling made six crucial saves.
Milwaukee netted the contest's lone goal in the 69th minute off the foot of Mesfin Roda.
The Panthers held a 19-10 advantage in shots while each team took three corners.
Tom Mertz, Marko Riamc, and
Djordje Petrovic had two shots in the contest. M. Rimac finished with two shots on target.
Poling finished with a new career-best nine saves in goal.
The Vikings host Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. for Senior Day.
