EAST LANSING, Mich. - Cleveland State shot a final round 317 and moved up one spot to finish seventh of 10 teams at the Mary Fossum Invitational that concluded on Sunday at the par-72, 6,334 yard Forest Akers West GC.
The tournament was hosted by Michigan State.
Sophomore Kaylee Neumeister posted a top-20 finish as she tied for 18th place with a 220 total. She shot a final round 78 today after rounds of 77 and 75 yesterday. Freshman Madison Butler tied for 32nd place with rounds of 80-79-79 (238), while senior Sophie Kelner tied Neumeister for low round on the team today with a 78. Kelner finished in 37th place at 239 (86-75-78).
The Vikings conclude the fall season on Oct. 9-10 at the Shirley Spork Invitational in East Lansing, Mich.
