Vikings Tied for 3rd at Butler Spring Invite

AVON, Ind. - Cleveland State carded a first round 330 and is tied for third out of eight teams after the opening round of the Butler Spring Invitational that began on Monday at the at the par 71, 6,085-yard Prestwick C.C.

The Vikings are tied for third with Northern Iowa, just four shots behind second place IUPUI (326). Butler holds the lead after a first round 309.

Sophie Kelner and Madison Lomas both shot 82 on Monday and are tied for 17th place, while Allyson Hackman and Colleen Miller are tied for 20th place after shooting 83.

The final round of the event will be played on Tuesday.
