CSU Opens Play at Ball State Cardinal Classic

YORKTOWN, Ind. - Cleveland State shot a first round 327 and is in 12th place after the opening round of the Ball State Cardinal Classic that began on Monday at the par-72, 6,204-yard The Players Club.

It is CSU's first tournament since the Bucknell Invitational on Sept. 6-7.

Madison Lomas paced the Vikings with a first round four-over-par 76 that included three birdies, including back-to-back birdies on the 17th and 18th holes, both par fours.

Allyson Hackman is tied for 27th place after a 78 that included 12 pars and six bogies

The final round of the event will be played on Tuesday morning.
